Winter Inland: Part II 2/27/10

Winter inland fishing offers a great opportunity to hook and land a lot of fish. Not very many anglers brave the elements, and the fish get comfortable again. Angler: Andy Borden

Winter Inland Trout

Beautiful brown ready to go.

A responsible trout pose.

Beautiful fin and skin of a native brown.

Brookie bonus, thank you red worm!

My 4th brookie in 5 years out of this typically all brown water.

  1. I plan to tie some red worms up before I hit that water. I don't think I have tubing, but will figure it out with something else.

I love catching a brookie out of there, but they are few and far between. Probably have caught 2 or 3 myself over the past 12 years....which only implies I don't fish there enough.
