New Year Steel Jan 1st 2010

All shots taken today with Kodak slide film as my dslr is in the shop The big steelhead shown below was my first nice trib fish of the season. Thanks to my buddy Ian for helping me land that giant, and for freezing his hands off while handling the fish!

  1. VERY, very nice blog! I absolutely love the shot of the reel in the short DoF. So cool and artsy. You have got to love what you do to brave temps like that. Like I said on Flickr...you are one serious hard core fly fisherman!!!
